A sculptural 1970s Italian lounge chair in the manner of Gastone Rinaldi for Rima. The barrel-form seat is button-tufted in midnight-blue velvet and carried on a polished chrome ribbon-slat swivel base. A bold Space Age statement piece, in good vintage condition. Dimensions: 28 in W x 24 in D x 35 in H (71 x 61 x 89 cm) — read from tape measure No maker label visible in photos. Form matches 1970s Rinaldi-for-Rima swivel chairs (cf. vntg.com pair of swivel velvet chairs by Gastone Rinaldi for Rima, Italy 1970); attribution kept as 'in the style of'.
